Kurulus Osman Episode 3 Review

Kurulus OsmanEpisode 3 started with the Commander Kalanos keeping his sword at Effendi Yannis’s neck after coming to know that he has been betrayed by Princess Sofia and the soldiers. Standing in the same position, Effendi Yannis asks Commander Kalanos to join them in the fight against the Turks. Princess Sofia also tells Kalanos about his faithfulness to Effendi Yannis as she sacrificed her better-half for the reason. So, Kalanos is listening to their proposals while thinking about the whole situation. Kalanos also asks some questions to Yannis about the proposals. On the other side, Kurulus Osman asks Sheikh Edebali about the secrets. Sheikh Edebali started telling Kurulus Osman about all the secrets as the treasure they have taken from the castle already belongs to them and also that they are fighting against the evil powers of the castle.

While talking about these secrets, Kurulus Osman and Sheikh Edebali aim to establish a new state for the Turks. Effendi Yannis tells Commander Kalanos about the great danger in the form of Sheikh Edebali and asks him to join them in this fight. Kalanos agrees to the offer. Kurulus Osman Alp goes to see Theokles while being followed by Batur Alp. When he returns, Batur Alp arrives and kidnaps Theokles. A woman comes and informs Bala Hatun that he horse is sick. Kurulus Osman sees Bala Hatun’s love for the horse and asks permission to do something to recover the horse. Dundar Bey calls a meeting where Bamsi Beys says that it is the time of war but their opinions differ. Dundar also opposes while Gunduz suggests waiting for Kurulus Osman.

At the spot, Kurulus Osman arrives with his Alps. Kurulus Osman says that it is now necessary to fight against the evil powers of the castle. All other Beys also supported Kurulus Osman’s opinion but Dundar Bey suggests to wait for Ertugrul Ghazi. Bala Hatun gives the wooden sword belonging to Ahmad Yasawi (Ahmet Yesevi) to his father Sheikh Edebali. After receiving it, Sheikh Edebali thanks to Bala Hatun and says, “Now it belongs to the new Hakan of the Turks”. Kurulus Osman tells Dundar Bey that the murderer of Aybars and then Tekfur is the same. Effendi Yannis sets out for the market after coming to know that Ahis and Kurulus Osman have been seen there. Yannis also calls Salvador for the campaign. Osman has prepared an ointment for the horse. Sofia asks commander Andreas to search for Theokles. Kurulus Osman comes to know that Theokles has been escaped. They come to know that Theokles was sent by Sofia to execute Kurulus Osman.

There is a great celebration managed by Effendi Yannis for Kalanos joining the secret organization. Their mutual goal is to diminish the Turks from the castle. Dundar Bey along with Gunduz and Batur went out to castle to return back Theokles with the purpose to prevent war. Samsa Alp and Dursun see them coming to castle along with Theokles. After coming to castle, they return Theokles back to Sofia. In spite of that they demand to put Osman on trial but Dundar replies that Kurulus Osman’s fate will be decided in a fair court at Sogut. Kurulus Osman comes to the market to hand over the horse to Bala Hatun where he comes to know about a theft. Osman cuts thief’s hands as his punishment. Then Osman returns horse to Bala Hatun. Effendi Yannis reaches the spot as a dervish and thanks Osman.

Yannis wishes to buy the tile in the hands of Rabia Bala Hatun but she refuses and gives him for free. Effendi Yannis has already told their soldiers to execute Kurulus Osman and kidnap Bala Hatun alive. Samsa succeeded in executing Theokles secretly. While Sofia and the delegation of Dundar Bey were eating, they were informed that Theokles was no more. Sofia in the anger shouts at Dundar Bey who also becomes angry and replies that now it is no her either she wants war or peace. Kurulus Osman and Alisar Bey talk about the prevailing situation but Kurulus Osman is ready to face them in the court and expose the criminals. Kurulus Osman sees Samsa Bey in the forest who informs Osman about the scene in the castle. After listening to Samsa Bey, he comes to know that he has been betrayed. Kurulus Osman sets out for bazar. On the other side, Catalonian soldiers are also coming to bazar as Bala Hatun is already there. So they catch Rabia Bala Hatun with a trick and then attack the bazar. Kurulus Osman in anger reaches the camp and stabs Baturn and accuses him of betrayal. In great anger, he announces to the audience that no one will be forgiven who will betray him.
